Individual Supervision

I offer individual supervision towards alcohol and drug counselor certification and licensure.  Supervision sessions are tailored to your individual needs, and topics vary depending on the needs of the individual.

Need help passing a certification exam or information on the next steps towards licensure?  Maybe you are thinking of becoming a supervisor yourself?  You might just need to go over some cases and get other ideas about how to proceed with your client.

These are all topics we cover in individual supervision.  In addition, some counselors use supervision to blow off steam and discuss appropriate self-care.  While I am not your personal counselor, I can help you process any compassion fatigue or burnout issues that may affect your client care.

Group Supervision

I offer online group supervision in NC and SC on various topics within the 12 core functions of alcohol and drug counselors.  Group supervision usually consists of presenting interventions, evidence-based practices, and applications.  I use a combination of role plays, case studies, media, and exercises to illustrate various clinical concepts.

My approach is to help counselors set meaningful goals for supervision that will benefit clients and cater to the mission of the organization the counselors work for.

**Due to my work with a national opioid treatment program, I cannot provide supervision or other services to opioid replacement treatment programs (methadone/buprenorphine).

Individual Counseling

I have been in the counseling field for 10 years, working with adults who suffer from the disease of addiction.  If you need help with substance abuse or other issues, I am licensed in NC and SC to provide private counseling.  I offer sessions in person and online, through a HIPPA compliant platform, so you can receive help in the comfort and privacy of your own home.

Corporate Training

I offer training with CEUs to businesses or for conferences.  This is available either online or in person.  Currently I have approved CEUs in ethics, counselor self-care and suicide assessment with the NCSAPPB.  Training is available in any area of counselor or substance abuse that you need and discounts are available for large groups.
